Herring Shoes has introduced the Drake to its premium collection. The Herring Drake is a wonderful Oxford cap style made with Antique Chestnut calf on Herring’s new 1966 last, named in recognition of their founding year. This style has been hand made bespoke to Herring in Northampton by Alfred Sargent to Herring’s own design and specification. Alfred Sargent was founded in 1899 by Alfred Sargent himself and his two sons. Ever since then, Alfred Sargent shoes have been synonymous with quality English shoemaking. The Herring Drake is available from http://www.herringshoes.co.uk from May 2013.
